Synopsis

TONIGHT'S THE NITE Together with Bridget Clancy, Dick Grayson is in Hogan's Alley celebrating his graduation from the Police Academy. Now his next goal is to become a member of the Bludhaven P.D. Later, Dick and Bridget walk back to the apartment house and eventually they kiss each other.   At about the same time, Nite-Wing has stolen a garbage truck and uses the vehicle to push the limousine of mob boss Ricky Noone off the street. The car crashes into a pylon and explodes.  The next morning, Dick asks for a job in the Bludhaven P.D. But not only is his application denied, he also finds out that Mac Arnot already has a job at the P.D. What Dick does not know yet is that Mac Arnot is becoming the new inspector, taking the vacant position of Dudley Soames.   Nightwing talks with Oracle because he wants her to check on the history of Mac Arnot. Oracle informs Dick that there is a power vacuum in Bludhaven and that Alistair Bendel-White, former fixer for Intergang, has set up office in Bludhaven.   Meanwhile, Blockbuster is talking on the phone with Chief Redhorn about finding the murderer of Ricky Noone. According to Redhorn this thing will work itself out, but Blockbuster senses that his power over people is fading.   Nightwing breaks into the office of Alistair Bendel-White and surprisingly meets Nite-Wing there. While Dick starts to talk Nite-Wing out of the vigilante business, suddenly Torque appears and he is throwing some charged dynamite in their direction ...
